Three years ago, I joined the Japan crew filming 'Limitless with Chris Hemsworth,' although Covid-19 prevented Thor from being there. Despite this, I got to experience a unique side of Japan during our week of filming. The series follows Chris as he tackles challenges for a healthier life, with our episode focusing on the cold therapy rituals of Shugendo Monks.
Sin Padre
A Brooklyn native runs a local barbershop in Tokyo. He and his clients find themselves at odds with foreign life in Japan and the absence of their own children. Inspired by real life and filmed in Shibuya, Tokyo. Sin Padre is a film about manhood, fatherhood, and the immigrant/expat experience in Japan.
Ramu Tokashiki
Ramu Tokashiki is the first female Japanese player to dunk on a professional level. She has played in the WNBA and represented her country in Olympic and championship tournaments. She has arguably been a driving force to Japan's female basketball team reaching Olympic championship level. Here is a short film about her story and haircut.

Nothing last forever and everything is short lived as far as time is concerned. But there is a beauty in the tragedy or mortality that make it that much more beautiful.
