These letters were inscribed over a decade ago. The idea was to take the poetry from Cambridge Massachusetts’s own poet laureate Jean-Dany and write them out on a pair of Reeboks. Jean-Dany was an avid runner and his marathon successes made him a Reebok sponsored athlete.

On a recent trip back to Boston. I found these pairs still in the crates. Back in the day I didn’t have camera or a smartphone to my name. Nor did I care or know how to take a picture. Now I care, but I still gotta work on that know.
