I Can Only Put it in a Poem

I write and delete it.

I delete it and then rewrite it.

I rewrite it and don't send it.

My thoughts change, my fear of the outcome freezes me.

I defrost and live my life,

I live my life and have moments when I want to live it with you,

And then the broken vase takes shape,

And I try to pick up the pieces and put them back together,

I wish we could do it together,

But you are gone yet you return,

You return yet you are gone like the summer breeze,

I walk through places of our memories and feel the time freeze,

And somehow I believe you can hear the clock tick,

The clock ticks and our days pass,

Some say they have no regrets but I wish I could rewrite the past,

By making a new future,

I just want to see you,

Look into your eyes and dive into your soul.
