Fast Track Photographer Q&A

You are much more than a problem to be solved. You are a design to be discovered.
— Dane Sanders

1. Who are you? What are your beliefs about human life? What are your beliefs about the universe? Do you believe life has meaning? Do you think human life has a purpose? What do you believe is the purpose of your life in particular? Do you think you have important work to accomplish in this life time? Do you think your life matters? Do you think you have something to offer the world?

I am a spirit of light. My beliefs on human life is that we are all connected, we are here to evolve, and we are all one. I believe the universe was created through love. The meaning of life is to create something out of what seems to be nothing. Human life's purpose is to take evolution to the next stage. The purpose of my life in particular is to love greatly. I have important work to do. My life matters but at the same time it does not. The purpose of life is to love.

2. What do you value? What do you see as the most important things in your life? What are the principles you want to live your life by? What do you cherish, even if you can't explain it to anyone else? How do you define a good life? What are the values you believe a good business should exhibit?

I value time, love, and a good sense of humor. The most important things in my life are work, family, friends, new cultural experiences and art. The principles I want to live my life by are honesty, discipline, hard work, and empathy. I cherish the results of the work, a healthy environment, and the love of the people around me. A good life is one with good physical, mental, and spiritual health. The values a good business should exhibit is honesty, a care for the environment and neighborhoods where they do business, and respect for its employees and customers.

3. What do you want? What are your life's goals? What do you really desire out of life? (as distinct from your spouse, teachers, peers) What do you want when no one else is looking? What do you honestly think will make you happy? What do you crave? What do you fantasize about? What do you want to accomplish in life? How important to you is income, living in the right place, and doing what you love for a living? What is your personal definition of success? Are you working toward your concept of success right now?

I want to make films, write stories, participate in martial arts, and travel the world. My life goals are to make a film, learn a martial art at a high level, photograph the world, communicate well in foreign languages I am studying, write a book, write a comic book, and spend quality time with my closest friends and family. I desire love, laughter, and challenging experiences that better myself. When no one else is looking I want the company of a lady. What will honestly make me happy is the work. I crave a good slice of pizza. I fantasize about traveling the world and meeting the locals. I want to accomplish a body of work. Income is very important but no more important than health, family, and one's personal legend. It is important to live in the right place because the market determines your options. My personal definition of success is completing the work and being comfortable in your own skin. I am working toward my concept of success right now.

4. What makes you tick? What drives you? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What kinds of situations motivate you to jump in and participate? To excel? What kinds of situations do you find demotivating or demoralizing? What are you working for? What is your prime drive in life? What are the basic traits or qualities that describe you good or bad?

The things that make me tick are challenges, failure, team spirit, and solitude. I am driven by internal validation. I get out of bed in the morning for the work. The situations that motivate me to participate are interesting challenges, personal development, camaraderie, and new experiences. Situations that motivate me to excel are competition, the approval from people I love, and my own internal hunger. Situations I find demoralizing are an unhealthy diet, bad relationships, disorganization, incompetent leaders, and personal guilt. I am working for the work in itself. My prime drive in life is to seek out my personal legend.

Good traits: Calm under pressure, never give up attitude, kind, and adventurous.

Bad traits: Emotionally bad at communicating, inconsiderate, time management, and impatient.

5. What are you good at? What are your greatest assets as you see them? Your most unique gifts and talents? What do you have to offer the world? What kind of tasks or activities cause you to lose track of time and place? Are you ever “in the zone” or in a state of “flow”? What activities take you there? What things do you do that frequently generate praise from others? What would others describe as your greatest strengths?

I am good at taking calculated risks, sports photography and videography, an understanding of martial arts, writing, editing, presenting ideas, and leading a team. My greatest assets as I see them are my gut instinct, diverse skills and experiences, and my die hard attitude. My most unique gifts and talents are my ability to evolve in difficult situations, awareness of people's emotions around me, and the internal drive for self improvement. I have to offer the world inspiring stories, laughter, love, and leadership. Activities that cause me to lose track of time are social networking, destructive arguments, television, and video games. I am in the state of flow when I do activities such as jujitsu or boxing, photography, writing, sex, dancing, filming, and drawing. The things I do that generate praise from others are my boxing, leadership, photography, filming, writing, and listening. Others would describe my greatest strength as perserverance and growth.

6. What would you like your legacy to be? What footprint do you want to leave behind when you die? Are you working on it now? if not, are you ready to get started today?

I would like my legacy to be a body of work that inspires that next generation. I would like to leave behind films and books. I am working on it today.
